IENUM Limited host second User ENUM event

On the 27th March IENUM Limited held its second User ENUM event. The event focused on VoIP and ENUM security, ENUM use for third-level institutions and the latest ENUM developments from the recently launched service in the Netherlands.

The session was entitled:

"ENUM in action - securing your VoIP and ENUM services"

Venue: Gresham Hotel, O'Connell St, Dublin 1
Date: Thursday 27th March 2008
Time: 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. (followed by drinks and snacks)

The objectives of the session were:
- Share the plans, motivations and an overview of the ENUM market in the Netherlands
- To hear from an International expert in VoIP security on practical security considerations and mitigation strategies for VoIP and ENUM
- Share the objectives and experiences of Irish ENUM implementations
